It sounds like Inuyasha has had to make difficult choices too. After his encounter with Sesshomaru, he can understand why the other boy would have desired more power. The power to rebuke, the power to prove wrong those who belittled him.]
I wouldn't know what to do with it either. Aside from keeping it away from those who would use it for evil purposes. It sounds like something that shouldn't be used lightly.
In stories, wishes never turn out how the wish maker expects.

but thats because when most people use the fragments they use them greedily and they become corrupted
when pure-hearted holy people touch them they are cleansed which is why we need kagome
we think if we use a pure wish when its whole the jewel will disappear for good

I hope that someday you can go back to complete the job with her.
[Why does his heart ache a little when he writes this? Is it because he himself can never go back, and Nina would have to fight without him?]

i dont think anything can stop all humans from finding something stupid to kill each other over even the gods are sick of it
it has to be selfless though
[Once he'd wanted to be human. He could write that.
Inuyasha's finger hovers above the glass. Suspended. This device...there was too much ease to it. You could say things without thinking about what they really meant or how they affected people. With the body and voice and scent all removed, what was left to give you pause?
He doesn't want to be reminded of Kikyo. Doesn't want to be reminded of how he's failing his friends, either, but at least that's a simpler wound.]
they say time can be felt differntly between realms
do you think well go back to where we were before
[If not, then he's condemned them all to death. They were hunting for risen corpses in unfamiliar lands, seeking Naraku. Beset on all sides by strange threats. If Inuyasha vanished suddenly and months passed by?
He feels sick just imagining it. He holds his face for a moment, thumb pinching at his temple. In absolute privacy he can risk such a weak gesture.]
i hate sitting here powerless

[There comes that sharp aching again, when Inuyasha asks about going back, and what might await at home.]
I don't know. I guess I haven't thought about it.
[He regrets writing that as soon as the message is out of his fingers. Who wouldn't wonder how times passes at home while they are here? Nobody but one who already knows he'll never go back.
It's not as if he gives no consideration to the passage of time. As the days have slipped by, he found himself wondering, Has Nina made it to Fjerda yet? Has she buried me? Have I been allowed to take root? And periodically now, How might she be doing today? Is she all right? How many days has it been since I left her?
But there was nothing left for him to do in that world, so what does it matter how long he remains in this one?
It's much easier to ponder on Inuyasha's dilemma.]
The people who come here are from all different worlds, and maybe different times too. Like how you and Kagome are from different times, but you were allowed to meet.
I don't understand it at all, but maybe if the Prismals can find a way to send you back to a specific world, why not a specific time too?

[That's something of a surprise. It's all Inuyasha could think about. Considering the situation they'd been left in he'd be a monster to drop the matter.
He feels like one, sometimes. He was trying his best but everything he did, everyone he talked to, even the books he tried to read at that thrice cursed library all pointed to a total lack of solutions. They were at the mercy of the Prismals, and only if these bozos were clever enough to find a fix for their own problems.
How lucky for them, that the Moonblessed should give up their past lives to power their stupid fucking city.]
it would be best if they did if i go back too late theyll all be dead
or if they drop me in the centuries between my time and hers id be stuck for good
i hope you get to go back to nina too
no subject
Yeah. I hope she will be all right.
[He does not want Nina to mourn forever. (Yet when he thinks about her looking up someday, and realizing there could be someone else—)]
You won't be stranded here forever, Inuyasha. Just hold on.
[Inuyasha would go home one day. Everyone he meets here would go home one day. Are there others like him? More who are supposed to be dead?
He needs to get away from this topic.]
I'm sorry that I lost my head with your brother. I don't want to cause trouble for you.
comment 100, nice
He doesn't want to think about it.
It's easier to face the problem at hand: Sesshomaru.]
he wont pursue you without reason
unless he thinks you have something he wants or youre getting in the way youll be okay if you stay away from him
and dont piss him off
ill take care of him
heh
I'll stay away. But just so you know, if I ever saw you go against him, and you were in trouble, I don't think I can promise to turn my back.
No matter how big of an idiot that makes me.
